What CardTrends collects

You can browse public market data, news, Research Signals, card pages, and community posts without an account. If you create an account, our authentication provider, Clerk, supplies CardTrends with an account identifier and available profile information such as your name, email address, username, and profile image.

CardTrends stores the content and preferences you choose to add, including profile details, posts, comments, watchlists, portfolios, holdings, and feedback. Feedback submissions may include the page path and browser user-agent string needed to reproduce a problem.

How information is used

We use this information to operate accounts, personalize watchlists and portfolios, publish community content you submit, protect the service from abuse, respond to feedback, diagnose failures, and improve CardTrends.

Service providers and disclosure

CardTrends uses Clerk for authentication and Amazon Web Services for hosting, storage, and backups. These providers process information as needed to deliver the service. CardTrends does not sell personal information. We may disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect users, the service, or the public.

Public content and retention

Published community posts and comments are public. Watchlists and the current portfolio experience are account-only. Account and community data are retained while the beta operates and while needed for security, recovery, and legal obligations. Backups may retain deleted information for a limited period before expiring.

Your choices

You may browse without an account, avoid adding optional profile details, and remove items from your watchlist or portfolio. To request access to or deletion of account data during the beta, use the in-product Feedback form while signed in and identify the request as a privacy request.

Changes

This notice may change as CardTrends develops. Material changes will be reflected by the date above. CardTrends is currently a public beta intended for a United States audience.
